A proud Colorado native raised in the scenic Grand Valley, Derrick brings unmatched local insight, dedication, and professionalism to every real estate transaction. After a successful and extensive career in the oil field industry, he transitioned into real estate in 2020—motivated by a passion for serving his community and helping clients navigate important life decisions.

Derrick began his career focusing on residential properties, but his drive and ambition quickly led him to expand into commercial brokerage. He holds a Paralegal Certification in Civil Law from The Professional Career Development Institute in Atlanta, GA, and is a Certified Negotiation Specialist—giving him a strategic edge in contracts, negotiations, and the complex legal aspects of real estate deals. In recognition of his performance and client dedication, Derrick is also a proud recipient of the Bray Silver Award for Sales.

Derrick’s approach is simple: listen, understand, and deliver. He puts his clients’ priorities first and strives to create a smooth, informed, and rewarding experience in every transaction—whether buying, selling, or investing.

Outside of real estate, Derrick leads a rich and creative life. He studied music theory and performance at Mesa State College (now Colorado Mesa University) and is an accomplished guitarist and drummer. A passionate photographer, his work has been featured in Digital Photography Magazine and other publications. He also enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, and bodybuilding—pursuing each with the same focus and determination he brings to his professional life”.
